John Dalton (aka "JD") is no stranger to the art of video productions. In fact, if he could have it his way (and get paid to do it), he would travel
the world producing unique documentaries on the most diverse of topics (and playing as many golf courses he could find along the way).
His knack for shooting video is unparralleled in the industry. With 25 plus years of script writing (story telling as some like to call it), shooting, and editing, he has
acquired a unique ability to take any concept, idea, or vision, and make it come to life with his eye for shooting and editing.
His story telling abilities (otherwise referred to as script writing in his professional
world) carry over to the golf course quite well. For those of you who
may love the game as much as he does, as he tells you about his round...
every par made, should have been a birdie (had he made the first putt).
And every bogey or double bogey, should have been something other than
what it actually was... had he not shanked it in the water or gone OB. It just
shows he has a great imagination!
What is always apparent, whether on the course or in the studio, is his passion for everything that he does. His ability to see things that others can't see, and create works of art through the eye of a video camera. Play golf with him, and you'll understand...
Barry Hottmann is commonly referred to in the office as the jack of all trades… master of none. Let’s just say he wears a lot of hats. From sales and marketing guy to CFO, to web designer and editor, he takes on anything that comes his way and has a difficult time saying the word “no”. Not that it’s a bad thing, but that’s why he’s a master of none.
All kidding aside, Barry brings his perfectionism, professionalism, and high level of customer service in to everything he does.
From the last detail on the editing
timeline, to polishing the last graphic on a web page, he makes sure that all the parts go together and meet the customer’s exact specifications.
Much like JD, Barry is a golf enthusiast (minus the story telling…). He knows his game needs a lot of work, and it shows. As a result, his need to tell how every bogey should have been a par and every double bogey should have been a bogey (we won’t discuss the triple and quadruple bogies…), is kept inside and only wished for in the quiet confines of his mind… dreaming of being that scratch golfer some day.
Whether in front of the computer (editing or web developing) or on the golf course, he always brings his enthusiasm and compassion for what he does. His ability to focus on the details, and create unique compositions either on the web or in the studio, is second to none. Unlike his golf game…
